Yesterday, Hank called me two hours before the concert started and said that he got an extra ticket to asked me if I wanted to go. Oh yes. The Real Group is a Swedish a capella group and the concert was in the Concert Hall by Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall (which is the like Globen in Sweden) so it was indeed a special evening. Their reportoir was a wide mix of covers, folk songs, blues, jazz and even country (and everything in between). I really enjoyed the songs and I cannot believe that human voices can produce such great music. They sang "Uti vår hage" (oh, so wonderful to hear Swedish!) and right after that a traditional Chinese song. So cool.
